The last Math Lab for the year will be Wednesday, March 29.
The Math Lab is a resource for students. Any student who attends will need a note from a parent to attend before and/or after school. Student drop off before school will be the auditorium entrance. Student pick up after school will be the MS main entrance. There will be NO late buses.
Please note: There will not be a morning math lab if there is a two hour delay.
Moon Area School District is working on a five year strategic plan. The goal of the strategic plan is to create a vision for our future. As part of the process, we will define our mission and core values, as well as the objective and action plans we will take to achieve our vision. Ultimately, our strategic plan will be our framework for success at Moon Area School District.
Moon Area School District is excited to announce Dr. Jason D’Alesio is the new Assistant Superintendent.
Dr. D’Alesio is a familiar face around Moon Area School District. He began his career in 2003 as a day-to-day substitute at Moon. He then became a long-term substitute at MAMS before becoming a fourth grade teacher in 2004. Following his time in the classroom, he became the Assistant Principal at the High School and ultimately served as the Assistant Principal of the Middle School before being promoted to the Assistant Superintendent.

The HAALA club stands for Heritage Awareness and Learning for All. It is a popular club open to students in grades 5 through 8 and celebrates the culture of all students at the Middle School and beyond. This is lead by teachers Candace Shaffer, 5th grade teacher and Jane Joyce, 8th grade teacher.
